French Onion Soup "requested by Red"
10 to 12 yellow onions (cut thin in slices)
saute in small amount of oil, until carmalized, do not burn
add chicken broth, (veggie broth can be used also), I use 2 to 3 lg cans,
spices " I add to taste" never measurements
chili powder (I use alot)
if desired small amount of crushed garlic ( or garlic powder)
cook on low for a couple hours
when done, serve in bowl and top with sliced baquett bread and shredded cheese
