Imagine

Imagine a family that is God centered and focused on the message spoken by Jesus like a laser.  It would be a family where forgiveness is common.  It would be a family where all members esteemed each other above self and served  one another.  Imagine a family where unconditional love is the norm.  This is what a true Christian family would look like.

As a Messianic Jew I do appreciate your use of the Creator of the heaven and teh earth.  In true Judahisim he is God of the universe.

When you look

One thing I have been considering for sometime is the idea of picture types of the kingdom.  As we know the church is a picture type the body of Christ, made up of many parts with one head.  As I have pointed out expanded families are also picture types of the kingdom.  Whether the church or families they are many parts with one head.  Another aspect of this view is that (like our bodies) each part has and fulfills a particular purpose.; But this idea began long before Paul wrote Ehpesians.

In the Gospels we see this very idea played out between Jesus and those who followed him.  What most people know is Jesus and the 12 disciples.  What most never consider is that beyond the twelve were another 72 disciples as well as the women who followed him.

If you go back and look at it you will find an amazing picture. Each and every member not only followed Jesus but fulfilled various functions.  In the Gospel of Luke we can find passages that explain the functions of the women.

Yet all these various people were all under one head, Jesus.  Yet how is it possible that all of these people could trust Jesus enough to forsake all they knew for his sake?  The answer is simple, becuase by his every action they could see he loved them and would never violate the trust they had in him.  In that state it would be easy to submit to anothers will.  He loved them so much that he could lead them, provide for them and in the end gave his life for them.  This is the picture type of a Godly husband.

Be Blessed
